SelfLube Celebrates a Straight Decade of Zero Non-Conformance ISO Audits

16 Oct 2018

For the tenth consecutive year, SelfLube has completed its annual ISO audit with zero non-conformances - continuing its track record and commitment to quality.

“This is a huge milestone for SelfLube, something that everyone here takes great pride in,” said owner Phil Allor. “But it’s not really about us. It’s about what we can do for our customer - solid, consistent quality.”

This year, SelfLube transitioned to ISO 9001:2015 following a three-year conversion period. The new standard represents the largest change to ISO 9001 since 2000. The revisions are mainly focused on emphasizing the individuality of businesses and providing a managing system tailored to each company’s unique requirements.

The audit addresses five key areas:

  • Meeting expectations for on-time delivery
  • Quality of the products
  • Understanding the needs and priorities of customers
  • Satisfactory service by SelfLube personnel
  • Knowledge of the employees

“SelfLube has a record of quality,” said Jennifer Anderson, office manager and leader of SelfLube’s ISO initiative. “It’s not just something that we say, it’s something that we do. I think it shows that we’re committed to our customers by being committed to quality.”

It is this commitment that makes SelfLube an ideal partner for companies seeking a supplier of precision componentry. The results of the audit, and SelfLube’s decade-long history of excellence, give customers the confidence that they are doing business with a safe and reliable company.
