SelfLube Launches Redesigned Website for Mold and Die Components

1 Nov 2017

SelfLube, the leading U.S. manufacturer of mold and die components, launched a new website that is designed to provide mobile access and streamlined service to customers.

“A website often creates a first impression; a key objective for our website was to make sure that it was a good one," says Phil Allor, owner of SelfLube Mold & Die Components. “The other objective was efficiency. This is a website that customers use every day, so we wanted to be respectful of their time. This means that it had to both look good and be crisp and efficient. The response we have been getting from our customers suggests that we succeeded in that in effort.”

The new website retains the same basic functionality as our previous site, so most of the content is the same. The main improvements, in addition to better graphics and a new and more modern look, are:

  • Automatic resizing of pages all the way from wide screen to smartphone, making the site accessible on virtually any device.
  • An improved search function that cross-references a vast library of industry part numbers.
  • An upgraded process for downloading free CAD models; with a single click, you can download an individual model or a zipped folder of the models for a given catalog page.
  • A new Quick Quote function and other improvements to the Quotes and Orders process.

SelfLube’s product line of over 10,000 standard part numbers includes wear plates, wear strips, bushings, gibs, and many other related items. Selflube's full product line, along with downloadable CAD models, can be viewed on this website.
